That one time I decided to start a blog…

This blog was born out of squats, searing thighs, and a whole lot of sweat. In the summer of 2017, I found myself in an intensive workout class in Buenos Aires. You can read all about that particular experience here.  In the middle of some ridiculous pelvic-related exercises, I couldn’t help but laugh at how absurd the whole situation was. I thought to myself, how the hell am I going to capture this particular moment? It got me thinking about all the other hilarious moments I’ve experienced abroad.

And thus, I decided that I would try my hand at blogging. I hope you enjoy reading about my many misadventures and memories from around the world.

Additionally though, I want this blog to become a platform for all sorts of writing. This blog is as much a result of a love of writing as it is a result of funny moments overseas. I hope to include other writing under my “Thoughts” section – writing about pop culture, feminism, weird obsessions, and any number of other random things.

A little more about moi: I am currently a junior at Harvard College studying Women and Gender Studies and Spanish. I have a passion for studying international relations, women’s rights, and the art of binge-watching TV. Originally from Hong Kong (the greatest city on the planet), I now split my time between the Pearl of the East and Cambridge, while trying to visit as many places in between as possible. I’m glad that you found your way to my blog. I hope that something within these pages resonates with you (or at the very least makes you laugh!). Please enjoy!
